A brief history

Welcome to our website. We have changed our online look recently, but not our attention to detail, and our commitment to you: to give you, the customer, the best possible food and the finest service, and all at an affordable price. We still use the finest and freshest ingredients when preparing your meal. We do our best to cater for all tastes, and if you cannot find a particular dish on our menu, please do no hesitate to let us know.

Da Vinci’s has changed a bit since our early days as the Pizza Parlour! Pietro Macari was always going to follow in his father’s footsteps. The Macari family came originally from Montattico, a small town (in the province of Frosinone) in Italy. Saverio ‘Sammy’ Macari came to Ireland some 40 years ago and started in the catering business Testing the water with the Pizza Parlour proved to be an inspired decision. Soon, he was drawing up plans for the restaurant we know and love today. Pietro married Sabrina in 1998. Sabrina has brought her own unique blend to da Vinci’s and of course, their own children are a testament to the wonderful family-friendly atmosphere for which da Vinci’s is famous.

We cater for many local businesses too, including our valued customers from Intel and Hewlett Packard. We offer an varied lunch menu and you can order ahead to save time. We also cater for parties large and small, and believe we have achieved a blend at da Vinci’s where you can take your partner for a romantic dinner for two on a Friday evening, and your family for an exciting meal out on a Sunday.
